Beautiful day to shoot
Finally, a nicer day to shoot here at the home range. Dug out the new to me 222 to start working on

Now that's a very tidy range set up in beautiful surroundings ! A tracked Argo to get you there...and probably anywhere else for that matter. Yes... wouldnt mind this in my back yard. It's not 800 or 1000 yds but I could live with it. Very nice set up you have there.. very nice. I'm been looking at having a 7 x 57 built up for me and these photos just wet the appetite a little more.

Ya set up for 100, could set up a bit further back and get maybe 200
Short but at least it is just outside the back door.

especially when walking in mountain country, carrying water, food, ammo, survival stuff etc, and aged 65.
not meant for that.
horses for courses.
this was the de rigeur benchrest rifle of its day.

True, they are heavy
Not a hunter so it only has to be light enough for the bench to handle
