RE: Norma TAC-22
I have checked in on this.
The thing that has me concerned is chances are the barrel will not time up to the action. If it is slightly short it will not be much of a problem. But if it goes past center slightly it would mean resetting it one turn and that would be a problem I think with the set screw detent making an oval slot. But again the barrel can be set tight too with out the switch option.
Here is the reply I got from Gail.
To make a second rifle from one of your barrels would be about $1535:
Category
Product
Unit Price
Quantity
Line Total
ACTION SILHOUETTE WITH BALL & SPUR LEVER $1,100.00 1 $1,100.00
BUTTSTOCK EXTRA BPCR STOCK, FITTED WITH PLATE $300.00 1 $300.00
BUTTPLATE NIEDNER (EXTRA CHARGE) $65.00 1 $65.00
FINISHING SAND BUTTSTOCK, READY TO FINISH $225.00 1 $225.00
PARTS BREECHBLOCK - CPA RIMFIRE $135.00 -1 ($135.00)
PARTS EXTRACTOR $20.00 -1 ($20.00)
BARREL WORK REFIT BARREL, RECHAMBER $75.00 0 $0.00
We would need to have your barrel here as well as the extra breechblock and extractor. Most likely the barrel will fit the new frame with minimal effort. The worst case is if the barrel turns past center, in which case we would need to set it back a thread. Since yours is a new action it is probably the barrel will fit another action quite well.
