44-77 brass - Don McDowell - 06-17-2014

Those who may be pining for new brass for the grand old cartridge need to be calling Captech and getting your orders placed. They are inspecting cases and filling orders as we speakBig Grin

I hope they'll publish a spec sheet on the .40-70 SS brass so we can see what the rim thickness is. Thanks for the good news.

I think if they have it listed on the web site you can look at the specifications tab and see the rim thickness and case length.

Don, That was a "used to be." They took it off and they said the reason for that was because the spec's were not correct. Now we must wait and see.

RE: 44-77 brass - Denali - 06-18-2014

Finally got some 44-77 brass on the way (200).
They were kind enough to email me last week since I missed the last run by a few days. Can't wait to go back to the drawing board with bullets and paper.
I guess I have a little time before hunting season.

Thanks for the heads up Don. If they hadn't emailed me, your post would have been my backup!

Mike

Glad you got some coming Mike. I told Kathi that I didn't think they'ld have much trouble getting rid of this run when word got out.
