rear sight issues solved today - chaneylake - 02-18-2014 the Hadley disc just will not stay tight, she must have fell down the canyon I sent 10 down range to the 300 yard target in the swirling winds today, I checked sight after 5th round and the settings had moved. I reset the sight on Hadley, sent 5 more down range and she had moved again I had her 4 fingers tight, she is still letting the settings move my cure, I removed the Hadley and screwed in the disc that came with the sight. I then sent 10 down range to the 300 yard target in the swirling 10-12 mph winds today here is the result, 10 shots, 300 yards, 10 inch black circle

NOT the Sharps version. They are close to the eyeball. But not mechanically, interchangeable for the reason you now see. Call Jim at MVA, and see what your options are. Please share/tell us about the equipment used to poke those holes.... in my part of the states this side of the Mississippi, we live by two statements as follows: 1. never loan your rifle to anyone, they will beat you with it 2. never marry a woman that will not clean ducks I am single, duck hunt, and will not loan my rifle to my Mother, I will buy her one though if she wants it |
