Crossno liner - Don McDowell - 06-30-2013 Put the liner in ol buttugly, mounted the scope and messed around a bit with it this afternoon. Shooting some Remington Golden bullets left over from the prairie dog war. I could wear the 22 sillouette chicken out, until the paint would get shot off of it to where it was hard to see even in the scope. If you haven't got one of these liners, you might want to give one a whirl. RE: Crossno liner - parkergunz - 07-01-2013 [img] [/img]Don I got mine a few years ago. This is a group with iron sights out of my Shiloh with Winchester bulk ammo. The bottom group is my Marlin 1895 CB .45-70 Lyman 405 gr cast bullet. Both shot from a rest. RE: Crossno liner - Don McDowell - 07-01-2013 Mike those things just work way beyond what one might imagine. We've had one for the 4065 for several years, but just never messed with it much. At any rate this thing has me looking for the next 22 bpcr match, and if that fails will take the scope off to keep the whiny butts at Med Rocks quiet, but I'm going after that dang duck. You better leave that duck alone. ![]() RE: Crossno liner - Don McDowell - 07-01-2013 No sir that duck and me have a date with destiny...And I'll bet the crowd cheers when that duck gets what's coming to it. RE: Crossno liner - Freedom - 07-01-2013 My insert is a Lee Shaver model...but it shoots GREAT. American Eagles don't fit the shell holder too well, but match ammo and "Stingers" fit it perfectly. My 8 year old son loves the idea of being able to shoot "dads" big Sharps rifle with the set triggers and MVA soule sight! .From the sticks he just hammers my BPCR silhouette chicken when I set it at 100yards for him
