Casper Buffler gong match - Don McDowell - 05-18-2013

Bryan did a bang up job, the crowd was small , but the fun to be had was large.
Will post a link to the scores when he gets them posted. I shot the 1st two targets with the short tank buster and 2f Old E, had I not of missed the sight for the first shot on the second target (300 yds) I would of had 14 rounds on target , no wiping, just a blow tube.Smile
Anyway if you're passing thru or around Casper on one of the days they have that shoot by all means take your gun.Big Grin

RE: Casper Buffler gong match - Stephen Borud - 05-19-2013

Don I pulled my 44/77 out of the safe today, mounted a midrange MVA rear sight and a globe front on it! I have 92 rounds loaded and no load data or sight settings! Smile guess I better pray for some time to shoot before the June 8th match! I am ashamed to say I don't have but 100 rounds threw the 44/77! I loaded some up with Fg KIK but don't know which ones they were and didn't sort them out from the Fg Express lol! I'm shooting 75 gr of Fg and a 405 .431 pp bullet! Guess I need to shoot, better get a membership at Stuckenhoffs Smile

Our first buffalo gong match went of without a hitch on Saturday. We opted to shoot all targets from the sitting cross
stick position. The course of fire was 5 targets with 7 shots each. No sighters or fouling shots. A portion of the entry

There are scheduled matches through most of the Summer months and into the Fall. I'll try to post the
schedule in the usual locations around the internet as well as the range web site. Sam Chopping got the ball rolling
with these matches and will be the contact person for the upcoming matches.

Thank you to all who lent a hand and helped get the range set up for this match. I think we know what needs done
for next time.

Bryan

Don where is the range at over there? and is there a match schedule posted? bobw

RE: Casper Buffler gong match - Don McDowell - 05-27-2013

Bob that range is on the northeast corner of Casper , on the north side of the river.
I think Bryan posted the schedule on Shiloh in the upcoming shoots deal.
