NRA 2019 nationals. - Don McDowell - 11-03-2018

I'm wondering if the dates for the 2019 nationals are firm?
It's an intesting concept they've put forth for now , but there's some serious drawbacks that may affect turn out.
Under the schedule as it now stands there won't be any bptr midrange, but there will be 2 days of Creedmoor. So in affect if a person were to go to shoot the entire match it would be 18 days camping at the Whittington or lodging in Raton. A person would shoot 2 days of Creedmoor, then have a day with no shooting, then there's 2 days of iron sight bpcrs( if you don't shoot irons 3days off), then if one is a scope shooter the bpcrs scope match (if you don't shoot scope 2 days off), then another day off , followed by the 22bpcr match, and then on to lever gun silhouette.. So in the end you could end up with no shooting for about 1/3 of the stay.
