Shiloh 45-90 - Stephen Borud - 11-12-2017 Can any of my friends on this fine forum tell me what the length is on a Shiloh Sharps 74 45-90 standard chamber is? I have a 45-90 Shiloh but it has a Paper Patch chamber. Thanks Stephen RE: Shiloh 45-90 - Kurt - 11-12-2017 Here you go Stephen. This is the standard reamer used on my rifle. Kurt RE: Shiloh 45-90 - Stephen Borud - 11-12-2017 Thanks Kurt. I see it’s 2.336. How much shrinkage did you get when you first fired your new brass in this chamber? Stephen RE: Shiloh 45-90 - Kurt - 11-12-2017 Stephen I cant say. I haven't shot this rifle for many years. RE: Shiloh 45-90 - Stephen Borud - 11-12-2017 My tight chambered 45/90 only shrank up a couple thousandths. OK THANK YOU KURT. RE: Shiloh 45-90 - Kurt - 11-12-2017 Stephen what I can tell you is I had to trim the cases I used in the standard Shiloh chamber when I chambered the new rifle with this PP reamer I had made for the new .45-2.4 |
