Wife and I shot the 2010 Q. Gary RE: THE AMERICAN SHARPS SHOOTERS, 2017-3 - Mike - 08-08-2017 Thank you Lumpy, we'll stand corrected on the year the Q was rained-out. Let's just hope it doesn't happen again... Shoot sharp, Mike RE: THE AMERICAN SHARPS SHOOTERS, 2017-3 - Don McDowell - 08-08-2017 (08-08-2017, 12:44 PM)Lumpy Grits Wrote: Great job as always I thought you shot the 09 Q.. RE: THE AMERICAN SHARPS SHOOTERS, 2017-3 - Lumpy Grits - 08-08-2017 Nope-Was '10, as that was the 20th Anniversary shoot. It was also the time a tornado touched down in Billings. Do you remember that weird looking corkscrew cloud from the west that came over camp? Barbara said at the time, that was a sure sign of a tornado forming. She would know, as see is born and raised in Missouri. G. RE: THE AMERICAN SHARPS SHOOTERS, 2017-3 - Don McDowell - 08-08-2017 Had one flip campers over in 05 too. RE: THE AMERICAN SHARPS SHOOTERS, 2017-3 - Old Jim - 08-12-2017 Don, were you and Carol in the tent in '05 or the camper? That wind caused trouble with a few of the vendors also, Jim RE: THE AMERICAN SHARPS SHOOTERS, 2017-3 - Don McDowell - 08-12-2017 We we in the Alaknak tent. The thing stood up fine, but was about like taking a filtered shower inside.
RE: THE AMERICAN SHARPS SHOOTERS, 2017-3 - Kurt - 08-21-2017 Very good write up Mike. Makes me regret that I missed it. 6-7 years ago I saw a escaped con in a black and white striped suit at the Q I just about clamped a 50 pound ball and chain around his ankle so he couldn't run any farther.
