Buz Coker - Freedom - 06-07-2017

It is with much sadness and mourning that I share with you all that we have lost Buz Coker. His humor and smile will surly be missed by all that had the good fortune to have shot with this great man. God Bless you man!
Larry passed in his sleep 6/2/17 after a battle with brain cancer.

Sad Sad to loose such a good man.

Very sorry to hear that. Prayers will be offered for him and his family.

RE: Buz Coker - Lumpy Grits - 06-07-2017

Just heard-So sad. Sad
Buz made us feel so at 'home' when we shot the 'Q'. He treated us like old friends/family.
He will be deeply missed, and will leave shoes all but impossible to fill.
Respectfully,
Gary

Be not sad that Buz has passed, be glad he lived ...

RIP Buz,

Yes, very glad that he lived. And I'm glad I got to meet him... Quite the guy! Shoot sharp, Mike

RE: Buz Coker - Kurt - 06-07-2017

As long as Buz is remembered he is not gone. When I read of his passing pleasant memories of the time we talked and joked on the range flashed back. Crossing over to the afterlife relieved his enduring pain, but he is still with us.
Kurt

We are diminished. With heavy heart, I'll pray for the family.

Buz is a very good man and an outstanding event organizer and host. I was privileged to had brief acquaintanceship during the Q's attended. he did a great service for me by running the Quigley grounds on ATV to return an item inadvertently lost from pocket during closing of Q '14. I was able to thank him and daughters personally and express how well the event was organized. The system Buzz helped put in place at Quigley should endure many attendees old and new for quite some time. RobertB
