Hey Bob, Thanks for your kind words. We're from the East too, just east of the Pacific Ocean, so we're brothers in that regard. Shoot sharp, Mike

Great cover pic Mike. Good old stuff!

RE: The American Sharps Shooters, 2016-2 - Mike - 04-05-2016

Thanks for your friendly comments, Old Jim. I can usually count on compliments from you and they are always highly appreciated. And that picture does feature some old stuff but not real old, except maybe for one knife and the DuPont powder cans. That "Sharps" wooden box is one of the boxes Dean Becker makes, some doin's and I'm going to get a couple more of them. And that Bowie knife which isn't seen very well on top of the box, that is an old Landers, Frary, & Clark knife with a 7" blade. The Green River Dadley at the bottom of the picture is a real J. Russell knife but only from about 40 years ago. I should have put some paper patched loads in the picture but didn't have any prepared when the idea for taking this shot fell on me. Maybe next time, with some .50/90s. Shoot sharp, Mike
