Not just the bpcr shooters. - Don McDowell - 11-12-2015 Found this to be somewhat interesting, have been reading on different forums about this sort of thing, but did not know it had reached this level ![]() https://www.facebook.com/groups/1633527770252250/?_rdr=p RE: Not just the bpcr shooters. - Gussy - 11-12-2015 Don't belong to any "reality" sites. What does it say? RE: Not just the bpcr shooters. - Don McDowell - 11-12-2015 I think you can link that anyway. But it is a group started by smallbore shooters to have a venue to discuss the way NRA competitions has been ignoring them. Do you get the NRA Shooting Sports epubliciation? http://www.ssusa.org/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=insider&utm_campaign=1115 RE: Not just the bpcr shooters. - Kurt - 11-12-2015 (11-12-2015, 01:22 PM)Don McDowell Wrote: I think you can link that anyway. Do you get the NRA Shooting Sports epubliciation? http://www.ssusa.org/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=insider&utm_campaign=1115 I looked through all 14 pages of that link and I can see that the NRA does not have much interest in the black powder sports. I didn't see any mentions of the black powder Nationals. RE: Not just the bpcr shooters. - Don McDowell - 11-12-2015 Kurt , there was a mention of them in one of the way back issues, but it may not of been in that particular link. But you are absolutely correct bpcr doesn't get hardly any mention. RE: Not just the bpcr shooters. - Kurt - 11-12-2015 We have a very active local range with a membership of over 600. They come from as far as Chicago. Not many ranges here that have 200 yards. I can come here anytime during the week and the range is very seldom not on use. I pick the bad days, like rainy days so I can shoot with put interruptions from the guys & gals that mostly shoot black guns with 20 round magazines and pull the trigger like those rifles have a selector, so I come during the bad days or shoot off my front porch. I see the major interest on our range using the race guns and don't get me wrong that's OK wit me. They are having a good time like I do. there is a curiosity when I shoot my rifles and several have ordered a Shiloh, 5 on just the last 4 years and a couple picked up a Italian but I seldom see them shoot them when they are at the range, They still jerk the trigger on their black rifles. Kurt RE: Not just the bpcr shooters. - Don McDowell - 11-12-2015 Well those guns are after the original purchase relatively cheap and easy to shoot. They can stop by Dunhams and grab a 1000 round can, go to the range and blastaway until the next time... |
