Vortex binoculars? - Don McDowell - 12-23-2014

Some one sent me a gift card from a big box sporting goods outfit.
Which was actually pretty good timing ,as I have been comptemplating a pair of binoculars.Big Grin
So my real question is does anybody know if the vortex diamond back 10x50's will accommodate a tripod adapter?

Well they are a Roof Prism Binoculars and that is a good start Smile

I really like the Vortex spotting scope's we have.

Their first generation binos were heavy and the neck-strap was too narrow. Left my neck raw if hunting in a light-wt. shirt. Glass is good and clear, though. No knowledge of their latest efforts.

All the best,

Jim I am wanting a pair of binoculars for spotting the 22 matches. Don't need a lot of power to call the bullet strikes but do need a larger field of view than a spotting scope will give , in order to keep better track of the condition changes.

The factory site says they will 'adapt' to a tripod.
Look'n at the pictures-Sure don't see how.

Usually that little cap on the bolt that holds them together unscrews and reveals a threaded hole for the adaptor.
