Model P Colt - Don McDowell - 10-09-2014 Got the high bid on a Model P with 5 1/2 inch barrel in 38wcf.Picked it up today, I don't think the thing has ever been shot. Figuring to fix that problem after a bit.
RE: Model P Colt - Nuclearcricket - 10-09-2014 Dan Don, first a marlin and now a Colt. I am beginning to think I need to come out there and rub your belly or head and see if I can pick up a little of you luck. I hope you can find or have some brass to feed those new additions. Sam Model P Colt - Don McDowell - 10-09-2014 Sam I have plenty of ammo,am running short on bullets ,going to have to cast a bunch shortly. RE: Model P Colt - Caprock - 10-09-2014 Pic would be nice!!! RE: Model P Colt - Don McDowell - 10-09-2014 Shoots a little high, but that's liveable. ![]() [attachment=436][attachment=436] RE: Model P Colt - Nuclearcricket - 10-10-2014 It sure looks nice Don. Kind of rare to find a new Colt in that caliber. Sam RE: Model P Colt - Lumpy Grits - 10-11-2014 Why don't you go buy a lotto ticket now ![]() Sure doesn't look fired to me either. Was this a local sale? Gary Model P Colt - Don McDowell - 10-11-2014 Nope found it on gunbroker RE: Model P Colt - Lumpy Grits - 10-11-2014 You did good! Gary RE: Model P Colt - Don McDowell - 10-11-2014 Yes sir very happy indeed. It shoots a might high but that's no biggy. With a bit of cooperation from maw nature, might give the Marlin it's first run. Hope there's not a lot of difference in chamber shape on these two so I don't have to separate brass. |
