RCBS - Kurt - 09-09-2014

I found a company that stands behind their product better then Shiloh!
My charge master 1500 went under out of warranty and they sent me a brand new one complete with all parts with no charge. I only sent the scales in.
Shiloh never gave me a new rifle when I broke the lever spring TongueBig Grin

I have one of their ultrasonic cleaners. It quit working about 3 years out of warranty. I called to inquire about repair and the service gal told me to send it in and they would replace at no charge. The same thing with a 10 year old priming tool I have. I broke the tray and they sent me a new one at no charge.

Good to do business with.

They are good that way.
I have a Big max press that I converted to a short stroke so I can use it for swaging bullets and I broke a pin on the lever and I called them if they still had replacement parts for this press and the Lady asked how in the world did you break that pin on that press and I told her what I did to the press and what I use it for and she said for being honest I will send you two at no cost incase you break the other side Smile
How can you not buy their product from a company like RCBS.

It is surprising how some companies take care of their customers. It seems that most in the reloading community seem to go that extra mile to take care of things. To the best of my knowledge I haven't had to seek any replacement parts from RCBS but have dealt with other places and feel that I have been well taken care of. I did recently contact Dillon Precision about my Determinator digital scale. Its 14 years old and gave up the ghost. They wouldn't replace it, and I didn't expect them to but was surprised that they were able to tell me when it was purchased, and they did tell me that if I send it back, that they would send me a new one for $85. I don't think that is a bad deal.
Most likely I will be calling RCBS one of these days as I now have a sizing die that is putting scratches on the neck of my .308 cases when I size them. I am not sure if the die is galled with brass or if it has picked up some dirt or grit and it has become imbedded in the die its self. Getting it replaced/fixed is not a high priority but probably something that should be done before the need to size more cases comes up.

Ditto here for RCBS. The plastic powder tube on my 40 yr. old RCBS powder measure was getting etched from having powder in it for long periods. I emailed them and asked what a new one cost, and they said don't bother. Tell us if it's green or clear, and we'll send you a new one w/ installation instructions. Can't beat a deal like that.Big GrinBig Grin
