Kurt,
Copy that on the throating reamer. Do you typically go with Manson?

RE: Lead ? - Kurt - 09-10-2015

No, I only have one from him. I usually go with PTG.

Think I'll start a thread on the 40-65 and seek some help with a fresh start.

Kurt, What do you use for brass with your 44-75 Ballard?

RE: Lead ? - Kurt - 09-11-2015

I use the Starline 2.6 and Norma .45-120 brass cut down to 2.5. The norma is almost to thick in the neck wall diameter and it makes me to have to use the seating die to seat a PP bullet in a unsized case.

Thanks! Sure like the thought of returning a Ballard chambering in that Pacific but I suppose that might be a bit much in a 10 pound rifle with a crescent butt plate, at least for my bony shoulder.

Better known as 'leade'!!

RE: Lead ? - SgtDog0311 - 09-12-2015

Wouldn't argue with that!

Kurt... I'd sure like to save some of your cast images from the first page of this thread. When I save without going to photobucket I just get a thumbnail that is hard to make details out when viewing. When I go to photobucket and try to share it just gives you a link back to photobucket.

Do you know a way that is handy to save them in full size? That is of course if you don't mind.

Photobucket is a PITA!!
