RE: Shiloh 1877 - Don McDowell - 08-09-2020 42 rounds down the tube. Nothing spectacular, but considering the first round fired was the first sighter in the match, I am really happy with it. Saw some good promise, and am looking forward to see what happens when it's shooting rounds that were built for it, instead of another rifle.
RE: Shiloh 1877 - pacecars - 08-10-2020 They didn’t change the date? RE: Shiloh 1877 - Don McDowell - 08-10-2020 Nope, either that or made a typo when he was printing those up... No matter. RE: Shiloh 1877 - rdnck - 08-10-2020 Kind of like a dog finding a "Forever Home". It looks to me like you have found your "Forever Rifle". Congratulations on a superb rifle and a memorable match. Shoot straight, rdnck. RE: Shiloh 1877 - Don McDowell - 08-10-2020 Thanks Bill, biggest problem is I already had two of those forever rifles, now I got a third, and what could very possibly be the 4th went into the production run the first of July.LOL I think this 77 is going to really shine shooting it off the wrist rest. Hoping we get some rains here so I can go out on my range and do some more testing. RE: Shiloh 1877 - pacecars - 08-10-2020 Nice looking rifle. Looks like it might shoot? RE: Shiloh 1877 - Don McDowell - 08-10-2020 From what I saw out of it yesterday, yup it's going to shoot. |
