RE: Old E - Lumpy Grits - 03-21-2013 Not bad in price. Reg. Goex is only about $1.90 @ lb. less. Looking forward to your report. Gary RE: Old E - Brownie Nash - 03-21-2013 I'm with Don about wondering if Hodgen will keep the E on line or will dump it after it has been around for a couple of years. Working up an accurate load even if the powder proves to be a good one is not cheap and also time consuming. Then having to do it all over again when it is discontinued. Just my 2 cents worth. Regards Brownie RE: Old E - Kurt - 03-21-2013 I have some 1.5 and 2F coming. I look for it to be here tomorow. Be interesting to see if it is as good as the express was. but I'm not going to put the KIK away! Kurt RE: Old E - Lumpy Grits - 03-21-2013 Well, Hodgen did muck with regular Goex after they bought it. Well said Brownie, pretty well nails the feeling alot of us former Goex believers have. RE: Old E - Kurt - 03-21-2013 l would like to support a American made product but it has to meet my standards. If it's no good I will not use it. Right now it will be hard to match the performance of KIK, but I will give it a shot. Kurt that's exactly right. KIK has set a pretty high bar for any other powders that come along. RE: Old E - Rick Mulhern - 03-25-2013 Thankee! I'll stay with KIK!! I've found what works and just like in the days when I was shooting NRA HP....when I found a load that worked....I stayed with it! Got lots of junk to show that it did work that I brought home! RE: Old E - Brownie Nash - 03-25-2013 I hope this is not hijacking this thread. But you guys seem to be having sucess with kik enough not to want to change. I have bought 2 lbs to try. I will be trying it in 45-70 and 45-90. My usual compression with other powders runs from .150 to .250. Is that typical of compression for kik or do you need more or less. Thanks in advance.
