Started to do some wrapping , all coming out at close to .451 so I ordered a .450 push thru sizing die . Time will tell I guess

I would try the .451 pp bullet in the Browning to see if you need to size it down.
In my experience, the Brownings have a generous size chamber.

I don't think the sizing die will do much for you. But it will make for an interesting test to see whether the sized or unsized bullets shoot better.

Trying the size die to just uniform the bottom of the patch , easier to load ?? I have both the Browning 1885 in 45 - 70 , and Shiloh long Range Express in 45 - 90

If you wet patch uniforming the fold over the base occurs when the patch dries. Dry patching it's still as likely to come undone after running thru the size die as not.

The only reason I size my PP bullets is to make them match the bore of my rifles. I want about .0005 interference fit with the bore.
The paper is not an accurate thickness from sheet to sheet.

I want my bullets to be the same diameter to keep consistent barrel friction to keep the verticals in line.
A bullet too tight and forced into the throat changes the burn rate with different thicknesses causes problems.
In the past I wanted my bullets 1 to 1.5 thousands over bore and this worked fine when using powder with .300" compression or more but since I changed powder that does not require a bunch of compression I changed my ways because using heavy thumb pressure I found the verticals opening up. This made me start calling Lee ordering dies that fit the bore and I have no regrets.

I will help you and take all the guess work out.
I shoot PPB in the Browning 45-70 in Silhouette matches here in the Midwest.
Bullet: BACO elliptical cast .444 in 20-1 lead from BACO. Drops around 524 grains. No sizing.
Paper: BACO onion, wrapped wet and put on a hot plate to dry.
Powder: Swiss 1.5 76 to 78 grains by weight dropped thru a 24" tube slowly.
Compression: None
Wad: .06 LDPE from BACO.
Primer: CCI BR2. Under primer wad of notebook paper between brass and primer.
Brass: Starline, fireformed and annealed.
Sight taper crimp, just enough to hold the bullet in but you can still spin it in the case.
This load is pretty accurate out to the Ram line. Using A DZ scope it will move the bullet impact exactly 1 M.O.A. when the spotter tells you to.
My Browning has had the trigger worked on by Lee Shaver.
This load is so accurate I bought another mould as a spare and am thinking about getting another rifle just like this one.
