To be fair, 2x4 hit is on the face, no real feat, lol! tho it is nice to see that the sights are close.

Looks like a lot of fun. Need more info on rifle. Looks long, weight. Who built it. Have a friend who shoots small cal. flintlocks, .25cal. out to 100yrds, suggest you try 3F.

Barrel is 45", pull is 13 7/8.

That is so cool. That would be a heck of a lot of fun for rabbits and squirrels

Having fun keeping the red squirrel population in check for sure

This is like I'm a dog and someone's dangling a steak just above my jaws and I'm getting pretty impatient with all that. Please at least offer who does this work!

A little advice.

Shooting the BB inserted in the pellet shooting the iron plate. That BB will bounce back like a ball bearing. I did that once with shooting a .22. I had factory primed .22 cases I use for loading black powder loads, still have a couple thousand primed rimfire cases left. WHat I did was make a wax bullet with the BB and used it for basement practice with just the primed .22 cases and that shot great at 50 feet. But when I put a blk powder charge in the case and shot a plow Plow Moldboard that BB came back and hit me in the chest. I'm glad it was cold out and I had the carhartt on with heavy shirts under the bibs, it still stung. Smile

That is one fine squirrel shooter!!

Thx for advise. I only shot steel that once. I don't want to ding up my knockdowns.

As far as dangling a steak, builder is JR Salvo. He was known for building these small ones among other things including full bore guns and knives/hawks, from what I have read.
