20x is about all you can really use. Get much over that and if there's any mirage, you just can't see much at all..
VORTEX viper the 15-45 x65 will let you shoot any match any where anytime.. And the bulk of the folks that look thru your Vortex scope will say "geez that's as good as my Kowa"...

Nah Don. A Vortex is only good for spotting a whirlwind, that's how it got it's name Smile

You will not find better 'bang-for-the-buck' than this deal.
I've used one of these scopes for years and have been very pleased with it.

Second one from the top. Only thing is you need to watch for Cabela's, Sportsmans Warehouse, etc, they get them on sale for about 6 every couple of months.
Also have an older Vortex, one of the low end scopes I use for a lay down scope that is surprisingly crisp and clear for the under 300$ crowd.
