RE: 45-90 and OE 1&1/2 FG - Don McDowell - 05-03-2015 Eric, hold hard and squeeze center. Kurt don't you go showin off to much with them big 44's now... RE: 45-90 and OE 1&1/2 FG - Eric Johanen - 05-05-2015 Will hold hard and aim small. Went into a panic trying to remember where I put my comb riser after the move. Finally found it and will put it in place today, this will complete "getting the rifle and sights ready" Still loading for the match and tomorrow going through the check list to make sure I do not forget anything needed. Seated the BACO 535 "money bullet" with 1/2 grease groove covered and now they seat with slight thumb pressure engraving half of the forward centering band. We will see how things work out at the match. They sure fly nice at 200. If we do get rained out it will still be great to spend time visiting with other shooters and exchange ideas on bullets, powder and charges, loading and shooting techniques. RE: 45-90 and OE 1&1/2 FG - Kurt - 05-05-2015 Eric. In case of emergency foam pipe insulation works quite well ![]() Don I'm kinda walking barefooted on broken glass right now taking this rifle and loads. RE: 45-90 and OE 1&1/2 FG - Don McDowell - 05-05-2015 Kurt no worse than I was going to Alliance, the CPA with not much for sight settings, the 44-77 with it's new front sight and bullet and no sight settings, just a guess and by gosh that 7 minutes up from the old settings might work,,, and they did come close... |
