Trying out the #1
Finally getting around to shooting the 44-77 Shiloh I’ve had for almost 2 years
MVA 23 in scope in DZ mounts
Almost 150 rounds thru it now
300 yards with the same dual diameter bullet folks been telling me won’t work for about a dozen years now?

Don,
I sure like to see that kind of grouping with a DD bullet.
Good Shooting

Don,
There is nothing wrong with your tank busters when you can keep them on the irons.

Now put all 10 on the white spot on the 1K it will make you do hand stands Big Grin

Don,

I spent the day loading some .38's and .44's incase I can get away in June and I saw some of the tank busters you gave me several years ago. I still have 11 left. I might load them in the morning and see how they shoot in the 1/16 twist .44-90bn. I haven't shot that rifle for several years. I quit working with that Oregan barrel when I finally got it lapped where it would shoot but I mostly shoot the 1.5" long swaged Metford in it.

If you had that mould and stretched the bullet out a bit it likely would shoot fine. I have it set now to 1.3 for the 19 twist Shiloh's.

A 1.3 is a good length for the 19 ROT. I have my original Sharps profile Brooks adjustable locked at 1.325" for the 19 and 17 ROT.
I know that it will connect the iron with the 19 ROT at 1585 yards if a good breeze. The little extra weight helps.
It's very close to your tank buster except it's not a DD.
