Forums Purpose

I asked Don and Bob to add this forum to discuss "older shotguns". So we need to decide on a cutoff date. Does 1970 sound like a good time ? My thoughts were to talk about and post pics of our old guns, like the post I did about my old Ithaca 37's.

So what do you say ? Where should we draw the line? My interest is in seeing, talking and learning about the older guns, from back in the day when there was still a lot of pride in building guns. It doesn't matter if today's prices don't reflect the quality that went into them, such as the old Stevens 77A 20 gauge I have, or the Savage clone of a Browning A5 in 16ga (the rounded humped one, not square like the Browning).

Or should we also include modern repros of actual old guns, just like Shilohs and C. Sharps are repros of days gone by..
