another oldie
To match my artillery luger, now an all matching broom handle c96. Doesn't appear shot much. Tho does appear it was worn and carried quite a bit, with bluing fade here and there. Cute piece

Nice find. Have you shot it yet?[/u]

Check this outfit: http://www.northridgeinc.com/store/index.cfm/c146/i894

They are spendy but what ever. I formed a piece of aluminum flashing to fit over the small dimension of the bolt when retracted to serve as a bolt/slide stop. It is way cheaper than stripers.

You have a fine looking pistol. If you have trouble finding brass, I could help you out.

Dan.
There is a lot of history in the Luger since Georg Luger came out with it. Even Hugo Borchardt had his fingers in it. Yes the same Borchardt of the Sharps when he went to work for the Deutsche Waffen and Munitionsfabriken of Berlin Karlsruhe back in about 1897.
The US also tested the Luger but turned it down for the colt 1917.
The Luger was also tested with the .45 ACP caliber.
You have a fine piece Dan. I put the Luger up with the 1911.
